Sean Hamilton, M.D.

Sean M. Hamilton, M.D. is a board certified general surgeon. He graduated in 1988 from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree and attended The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. for post-bachelorette study. He received his medical doctorate from the Medical College of Virginia and completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado. His current hospital appointments include Citizen’s Medical Center, Detar Health System, The Surgery Center and Warm Springs Hospital in Victoria.  He has been practicing in Victoria since 2007. Dr. Hamilton became interested in advanced techniques for vein treatment during his general surgery residency in Denver.  He moved to Victoria, TX with a desire to bring these modern treatments to his patients in the Crossroads area.  He was the first surgeon in the Crossroads area to perform the ClosureFast™ procedure — a minimally invasive treatment option for venous reflux and varicose veins. Throughout the course of his medical service to the community, he has also developed an appreciation and knowledge of the many medical and cosmetic treatments provided by advanced laser technology, and is excited to offer these as an additional services.
